Viva Las Vegas!

After San Diego, my friends and I went to Vegas! This was actually my 4th trip there in the past year. I love it in Vegas! You can be whoever you want, wear the most fabulous clothes and nobody cares! We stayed in the MGM this year, and a lot of our buddies from school were also there, I wish I had better shots of my outfit (all the good pictures were on my best friend Zoe's camera, which got stolen the 2nd night out). In the first picture I'm with my girlfriends Monica (blue) and Zoe in front of a statue at the MGM! I'm wearing an animal print kimono style dress from Nasty Gal you can see better here (sorry all sold out!) with my Jeffery Campbell Gladiator pumps (so remarkably comfortable), my most cherished sequin mini purse from Free People (my huge splurge of the year) and my Mango leather jacket. The second picture is me in the limo on the way to Gold Lounge @ Aria Resort and Casino (yes, I was having a great time) I'm wearing a long one-sleeved gold cocktail dress from Asos, and my fabulous faux fur black coat from Nasty Gal you can get here (for 30% off!!) and black suede Steve Madden Pumps (also randomly comfy). The third picture is me with my best friend Rachel (who is wearing my lovely black dress with sequined bottom from Asos you can get here ) also my friends Alex (far left) and Max (middle). I am wearing a Urban Outfitters purple print mini dress! You can't see them but it was the last night (my feet being a little tender) I wore my Aldo black leather boots.
We had so much fun (other than slightly severe illness I tried to bare through the last night)
We plan on going back this summer!! Viva Las Vegas!

The 1960's

The 60's has to be my favorite decade for hair and make-up. I love the volume in the hair, and how effortless it looks. The make-up was strongly focused on dramatic eyes, while leaving the lips a nude shade. Sharon Tate I find to be one of the most beautiful women, who captured the 60's style perfectly!

Online Shopping...Nasty Gal

Ok, I'll be the first to admit: I am addicted to online shopping. Most of my friends think I'm crazy for buying something before I try it on, but I hate going to those huge stores, where everything I unorganized, and trying things on in those awfully lit dressing rooms. I leave feeling worse about myself and very dissatisfied. I also think it helps to see the clothes on a model, because I get a better idea on how it fits/how its supposed to look.
So here are a few things I'm loving on Nasty Gal (one of my favorite online boutiques!) I have to only select a few, I am trying to be as frugal as possible!

A little more about me....

I always like to learn fun things about the people who write the blogs I read, so here is a little about me :) I am a 22 year old, University of Colorado student, born and raised in the one and only Boulder, Colorado. I'm majoring in Sociology and I love it. I will probably be graduating next spring (due to 3 changes in my major, and a bad freshman semester at a school in Florida) and I plan on finishing up my classes at CU Denver. So because of that in August I'm planning on moving to a chic downtown apartment in Denver (first time living in a city!) I've traveled many places including all over Brazil, Argentina, England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, and more recently New Zealand! I love traveling and putting myself in different cultures. I also enjoy different foods! I love the outdoors, but I'm not much of a sportsman. I have two sisters, one working with horses in Kentucky, the other living in New Orleans and loving it! I have a dog, whom which I adore, named Willow. You will be seeing him a lot on here.
Fashion has become a somewhat new passion of mine. I always loved clothes, but recently I've been a lot more interested in the industry and styling. Fashion blog reading is one of my favorite things to do. Blogging...

I'm going to give another go at this blogging thing. I love reading other blogs, and there is so much I want to say! Anyways my friends and I recently drove out to San Diego! Here is a picture on the balcony of our friend Spencer's apartment in downtown San Diego! It was chillier than expected, so I wore a black deep neck dress from H&M, a black bandeau from Urban Outfitters, and my trusty leather jacket from Mango! After this picture was taken we went to a few of the clubs around there, they were definitely different from Boulder bars, but that was a good thing! It was a awesome night!
